Happening is a curated list that offers time-limited popups and events, which become the most popular list in our product.
Hit Lists offers themed experience rankings, showcasing the best events in each category, and for these, we created unique card designs to differentiate the presentation of events.

As an international version of rednote, we kept the dual-column feed to maintain the community vibe. However, we found that this layout made it harder for users to quickly understand the product in the early stages. So, we’ve gradually added more direct “activity discovery” features to balance community and utility in the design.

V1: Tool-driven iteration, adding Slogan and channels that led to a list with things to do inspirations.

The more tool-like the entry, the more neutral and straightforward it feels, while the more operationally-driven the entry, the livelier and more engaging it becomes. However, the level of coordination needed with operations increases, and the execution of operations significantly impacts the user experience.
